The lodge has a stunning park surrounding it, making for a beautiful backdrop during your stay. However, the accommodation and dining options are in dire need of improvement. The staff were very kind and hard-working, but the facilities felt old and poorly maintained. It's a shame that the dining experience did not match the lovely scenery, as the food quality was quite disappointing.
The lodge is situated in a stunning location near the base of Yosemite Falls, making it perfect for exploring the park. While the room was spacious, it could really use a thorough cleaning, and the lack of air conditioning made for a stuffy stay. The dining options were hit or miss, with one restaurant being fantastic and the cafeteria being quite the letdown. Parking can also be a challenge during the daytime, so make sure to find a spot and stick to it!
I had a surprisingly pleasant stay at this hotel despite a few quirks. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, with delightful rustic décor, but the hallways felt a bit outdated. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of nature, allowing easy access to trails and dining options. While dining choices were limited, the convenience of nearby eateries made it easier to navigate our meals. Overall, considering the value and the lovely experience in nature, I would recommend it.
Staying at this lodge was definitely an adventure! The location is unbeatable, with stunning views of nature right outside. The room was comfortable and offered decent amenities, but the dining options were a bit of a letdown considering the price. It’s best to pack food and drinks, especially since everything seems costly in the valley. Overall, I recommend spending at least one night here to experience the beautiful surroundings.
Staying at this hotel was a very pleasant experience, mainly due to its incredible location right in the park where I could hear the falls from my room. The room itself was cute and updated, although I found the dining options rather hit or miss. The service from the staff varied; while some were friendly, others felt a bit flat. Overall, for the price, I appreciated the opportunity to be immersed in nature, but I would have loved longer pool hours and better food options.
